· Principal consultant & advisor for Spirent Communications, a major manufacturer of network performance evaluation systems including their flagship product “SmartBits”. Helped the client immensely in designing competitive router testing applications, which played a key role in their revenue growth from $50 million to $200 million in three years.
· Principal architect for ProcessRegister.com, an aesthetic and powerfully designed online yellow pages service. Applied advanced Search Engine Optimization techniques resulting in 4 million pageviews a month for the portal!
· Provided valuable expertise to clients in VC++/MFC/VB/Office and COM/Active-X/XML/ASP/ADO technologies.

· Successfully lead a high profile, challenging project involving a three-tier Java based management platform for thin client applications including Thin X and Thin Terminal Emulator. This middleware project involved delivering a comprehensive Network-OS API and a comprehensive Java based remote management applet using JFC/Swing.
· Played primary role in product conception and as a leader in an engineering centric company, took the initiative to research, recommend and utilize technologies such as LDAP for user management, CORBA/IIOP with the Visigenic Java ORB for distributed computing and PKI for certificate based security.

Effectively accomplished the shaping of the Raleigh
development team by helping to recruit highly skilled staff and earned the
prestige of leading the “least maintenance” and “high productivity” team of
Hummingbird.

Tactfully lead the entire Raleigh R&D team
comprising of 15 software developers and coordinated development efforts
between R&D teams located in four geographic locations.

· Mentor and leader for the development of TCP/IP client and server applications involving protocols such as NNTP, IMAP, SMTP and HTTP, which ship with the NFS-Maestro and Exceed products. As lead architect, developed an object oriented infrastructure to ease Winsock/ IO completion ports and threads based development on Windows.
· Proud lead for an intuitive win32 Internet newsreader & a WYSIWYG Windows HTML Editor using VC++/MFC.

Engineer III---------------------Wandel & Goltermann Technologies,

· Acted as key development member for the DA-3x protocol analyzer for Windows involving extensive VC++/MFC use.
· Recommended changing the existing high maintenance compiler to a theoretically designed compiler. Lead the implementation of the scanner, parser and semantic components of the new compiler using C++, LL (1) grammar.
